Rich Thornton for Congress 1986

In 1986, I ran for Congress in the 19th Congressional District in Pennsylvania. I won the Democratic primary but lost to the long time incumbent in the general election. Along the way I recorded various times that my campaign was covered on TV concerning a number of issues. Recorded on a VCR in 1986, the quality when transferred in 2010 is not good. Still, it reflects the issues of the 1980's and a word about how not dealing with the national debt then would affect the country in the 21st century. Unfortunately, that has proven true.
